Specialist Study Skills Tutor

We are recruiting Specialist Study Skills Tutors to join our UK-wide network, starting October 2026. You will work one-to-one with university students who receive Disabled Students’ Allowance, helping them plan, structure and manage their academic work. Sessions are mostly delivered online.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver one-to-one study skills sessions, mostly online
  • Help students plan assignments, structure writing and manage deadlines
  • Build revision strategies and academic confidence
  • Keep clear, professional session records
What we’re looking for
  • Relevant qualification or substantial experience in study skills, teaching, tutoring or learning support in higher education
  • Understanding of how disabilities and specific learning difficulties affect academic work
  • Ability to break work into manageable steps without doing it for the student
  • Reliability, professionalism and good communication
Where you’d work

This role is delivered remotely, so you can support students anywhere in the UK from wherever you are. We also have students who benefit from meeting in person, and we’re particularly keen to hear from practitioners in or near Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
