Social Media Manager

Part-time · RemoteDepending on experienceRemote, UK-wideStarting October 2026

We are recruiting a Social Media Manager to join us, starting October 2026. You would take ownership of our social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube — planning it, creating the content, and building a community around the work we do. We are looking for someone who can make things, not just schedule them.

Apply for this role
What you’ll do
  • Own the content calendar across our social channels
  • Create the content itself — graphics, short video, copy
  • Grow and look after the community, and reply to the people in it
  • Work with the team to turn real stories into posts worth sharing, with consent always
  • Keep an eye on what is working and adjust accordingly
What we’re looking for
  • A portfolio of social content you have made yourself, not just managed
  • Confident with short-form video and design tools such as Canva or Adobe
  • Able to write in someone else’s voice — warm, human, never clinical
  • Thoughtful about how you talk about disability and neurodiversity
  • Experience in education, healthcare or the charity sector is a bonus
Where you’d work

This role is delivered remotely, so you can support students anywhere in the UK from wherever you are. We also have students who benefit from meeting in person, and we’re particularly keen to hear from practitioners in or near Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and London.

How to apply

It’s a short email, not a long form.

Email admin@mangominds.co.uk with “Social Media Manager” in the subject line. Attach your CV and tell us about your experience, the areas you could cover and your availability. We read every application and reply to all of them.

All roles working with students are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
